Several small signedness / overflow corrections to qxl_create_guest_primary:
1. use 64 bit unsigned for size to avoid overflow possible from two 32
bit multiplicants.
2. correct sign for requested_height
3. add a more verbose error message when setting guest bug state (which
causes a complete guess blackout until reset, so it helps if it is
verbose).

Without this we occasionally trigger an assert at
hw/pci/pci.c:pcibus_reset that asserts the irq_count is zero on reset.
This has become a problem with the new drm driver for linux, since doing
a reboot from console causes a race between console updates that set the
irq and the reset assertion that the irq is clear.

When migrating a host with with a spice agent running the mouse becomes
non operational after the migration due to the agent state being
inconsistent between the guest and the client.
After migration the spicevmc backend on the destination has never been notified
of the (non 0) guest_connected state. Virtio-serial holds this state
information and migrates it, this patch properly propagates this information
to virtio-console and through that to interested chardev backends.

This is a simpler solution to 869981, where migration breaks since qxl's
rom bar size has changed. Instead of ignoring fields in QXLRom, which is what has
actually changed, we remove some of the modes, a mechanism already
accounted for by the guest. The modes left allow for portrait and
landscape only modes, corresponding to orientations 0 and 1.
Orientations 2 and 3 are dropped.
Added assert so that rom size will fit the future QXLRom increases via
spice-protocol changes.
This patch has been tested with 6.1.0.10015. With the newer 6.1.0.10016
there are problems with both "(flipped)" modes prior to the patch, and
the patch loses the ability to set "Portrait" modes. But this is a
separate bug to be fixed in the driver, and besides the patch doesn't
affect the new arbitrary mode setting functionality.

Alexander Larsson found irq injection to Windows guests stopped after a
migration. The symptom was the mouse stopped working.
Reproduction steps are:
1. On src, start qemu with a virtio-serial port without any backend
2. On dest, start qemu with a virtio-serial port with a backend
3. Migrate.
Upon migration, the older code detected the change in backend connection
status, and sent a notification to the guest. However, it's not
guaranteed that the apic is ready to inject irqs into the guest, and the
irq line remained high, resulting in any future interrupts going
unnoticed by the guest as well.
Add a new timer based on vm_clock for 1 ns in the future from post_load
to do the event send in case host_connected differs between migration
source and target.

Due to usage of pixman for rendering on all spice surfaces we have
pixman's requirement that the stride be word aligned. A guest not
honoring that can crash spice and qemu with it due to failure to create
a surface (in spice-server). Avoid this early on in primary surface
creation and offscreen surface creation.
Recently windows guests got odd width support which triggers a non word
aligned primary surface in 16bit color depth. Off screen surfaces have
always been word aligned, but doesn't hurt to check them here too.

The current intptr_t casts are a problem when the address's highest
bit is 1, and it is cast to a intptr_t and then to uint64_t, such
as at:
surface.mem = (intptr_t)ssd->buf;
This causes the sign bit to be extended which causes a wrong address to
be passed on to spice, which then complains when it gets the wrong
slot_id number, since the slot_id is taken from the higher bits.
The assertion happens early - during the first primary surface creation.

Check for dev->config being NULL in two places:
USB_REQ_GET_CONFIGURATION and USB_REQ_GET_STATUS.
The behavior of USB_REQ_GET_STATUS is unspecified in the Default state,
that corresponds to dev->config being NULL (it defaults to NULL and is
reset whenever a SET_CONFIGURATION with value 0, or attachment). I
implemented it to correspond with the state before
ed5a83ddd8, the commit moving SET_STATUS
to usb-desc; if dev->config is not set we return whatever is in the
first configuration.
The behavior of USB_REQ_GET_CONFIGURATION is also undefined before any
SET_CONFIGURATION, but here we just return 0 (same as specified for the
Address state).

RHBZ# 747011
Removes the last user of QXL_SYNC when using update drivers that use the
_ASYNC io ports.
The last user is qxl_render_update, it is called both by qxl_hw_update
which is the vga_hw_update_ptr passed to graphic_console_init, and by
qxl_hw_screen_dump.
At the same time the QXLRect area being passed to the red_worker thread
is passed as a copy, as part of the QXLCookie.
The implementation uses interface_update_area_complete with a bh to make
sure dpy_update and qxl_flip are called from the io thread, otherwise
the vga->ds->surface.data can change under our feet.
With this patch sdl+spice works fine. But spice by itself doesn't
produce the expected screendumps unless repeated a few times, due to
ppm_save being called before update_area (rendering done in spice server
thread) having a chance to complete. Fixed by next patch, but see commit
message for problem introduced by it.

If we migrate when the device is in vga state the guest
still believes the slots are created, and will cause operations
that reference the slots, causing a "panic: virtual address out of range"

a driver loaded, for instance windows cmd window in full screen mode,
and then exiting vga mode back to native mode will cause said panic.
Fixed by doing the slot recreation in post_load for vga mode as well.

only slot by a side effect of QXL_IO_SET_MODE.
