Andrew Baumann 5b2d261d60 arm: implement cache/shareability attribute bits for PAR registers
On a successful address translation instruction, PAR is supposed to
contain cacheability and shareability attributes determined by the
translation. We previously returned 0 for these bits (in line with the
general strategy of ignoring caches and memory attributes), but some
guest OSes may depend on them.

This patch collects the attribute bits in the page-table walk, and
updates PAR with the correct attributes for all LPAE translations.
Short descriptor formats still return 0 for these bits, as in the
prior implementation.

Andrew Baumann ad52878f97 notdirty_mem_write: implement 8-byte accesses
Aligned 8-byte memory writes by a 64-bit target on a 64-bit host should
always turn into atomic 8-byte writes on the host, however if we missed
in the softmmu, and the TLB line was marked as not dirty, then we
would end up tearing the 8-byte write into two 4-byte writes in
access_with_adjusted_size().

Andrew Baumann 0a7ac9f9e7 sdhci: add quirk property for card insert interrupt status on Raspberry Pi
This quirk is a workaround for the following hardware behaviour, on
which UEFI (specifically, the bootloader for Windows on Pi2) depends:

1. at boot with an SD card present, the interrupt status/enable
   registers are initially zero
2. upon enabling it in the interrupt enable register, the card insert
bit in the interrupt status register is immediately set
3. after a subsequent controller reset, the card insert interrupt does
not fire, even if enabled in the interrupt enable register

Andrew Baumann 5c1bc9a234 sdhci: Revert "add optional quirk property to disable card insertion/removal interrupts"
This reverts commit 723697551a.

This change was poorly tested on my part. It squelched card insertion
interrupts on reset, but that was not necessary because sdhci_reset()
clears all the registers (via the call to memset), so the subsequent
sdhci_insert_eject_cb() call never sees the card insert interrupt
enabled. However, not calling the insert_eject_cb results in prnsts
remaining 0, when it actually needs to be updated to indicate card
presence and R/O status.

Andrew Baumann dd26eb4333 hw/sd: model a power-up delay, as a workaround for an EDK2 bug
The SD spec for ACMD41 says that a zero argument is an "inquiry"
ACMD41, which does not start initialisation and is used only for
retrieving the OCR. However, Tianocore EDK2 (UEFI) has a bug [1]: it
first sends an inquiry (zero) ACMD41. If that first request returns an
OCR value with the power up bit (0x80000000) set, it assumes the card
is ready and continues, leaving the card in the wrong state. (My
assumption is that this works on hardware, because no real card is
immediately powered up upon reset.)

This change models a delay of 0.5ms from the first ACMD41 to the power
being up. However, it also immediately sets the power on upon seeing a
non-zero (non-enquiry) ACMD41. This speeds up UEFI boot, it should
also account for guests that simply delay after card reset and then
issue an ACMD41 that they expect will succeed.

This deletes a block of code that raised a command index error if a

Andrew Baumann 30901475b9 target-arm: raise exception on misaligned LDREX operands
Qemu does not generally perform alignment checks. However, the ARM ARM
requires implementation of alignment exceptions for a number of cases
including LDREX, and Windows-on-ARM relies on this.

This change adds plumbing to enable alignment checks on loads using
MO_ALIGN, a do_unaligned_access hook to raise the exception (data
abort), and uses the new aligned loads in LDREX (for all but
single-byte loads).

Andrew Baumann b73c184914 tap-win32: disable broken async write path
The code under the TUN_ASYNCHRONOUS_WRITES path makes two incorrect
assumptions about the behaviour of the WriteFile API for overlapped
file handles. First, WriteFile does not update the
lpNumberOfBytesWritten parameter when the write completes
asynchronously (the number of bytes written is known only when the
operation completes). Second, the buffer shouldn't be touched (or
freed) until the operation completes. This led to at least one bug
where tap_win32_write returned zero bytes written, which in turn
caused further writes ("receives") to be disabled for that device.

This change disables the asynchronous write path, while keeping most
of the code around in case someone sees value in resurrecting it. It
also adds some conditional debug output, similar to the read path.

Andrew Baumann ee0428e3ac tap-win32: skip unexpected nodes during registry enumeration

"Connection" subkey, but if this key doesn't exist, it aborts the
entire search. This was observed to fail on at least one Windows 10
machine, where there is an additional child of NETWORK_CONNECTIONS_KEY
(named "Descriptions"). Since registry enumeration doesn't guarantee
any particular sort order, we should continue to search for matching
children rather than aborting the search.
